The Man

Karl Zuber, later known as Charles Zuber, was a visionary Swiss jewelry designer born in the mystical town of Kriens, Switzerland on January 29, 1932.

From a young age, he was enchanted by his innate sense of creativity, endlessly deconstructing and piecing together the fragments of objects to unleash his natural aptitude for creating works of art.

At 15, he abandoned the traditional path of education and embarked on an apprenticeship with the renowned Lucerne-jeweler, Burger. Mesmerized by the aesthetic beauty of precious metals and gemstones, his earnestness during this apprenticeship ultimately manifested into a reality with the creation of his first masterpiece, the “Etoile de Lucerne,” a glistening star that remains an homage to the artist in the streets of Lucerne to this day.
